The Thinking Football Film Festival 2019 opens on March 18 at 7:00 pm at Sala BBK with “Nossa Chape”, a documentary feature film that tells of the reconstruction of the Chapecoense football club in Brazil after a plane crash killed most of the club’s players and staff on November 28, 2016.
The screening of the documentary will be attended by the acclaimed director Michael Zimbalist, who was also the co-creator with his brother Jeff of two of the most important football films in recent years, the brilliant documentary “The Two Escobars” and a biopic about Pelé: “Pelé: Birth of a Legend”. He will be accompanied by Rafael Henzel, who was in the plane crash and was one of the six survivors of the tragedy. At the end of the film, the two of them will talk to the audience in the hall.
Remember that admission to the Thinking Football Film Festival is free until capacity is reached.
